Ben Stokes come back after being ruled out of ICC champions trophy

Cricketer with a light blue jersey and black training vest, sporting a red beard and tattoos on his arm, standing against a blurred blue and yellow background.

Ben Stokes, England’s all-rounder and test captain, has suffered an injury during England’s third test  against New Zealand.

They lost the test, however, managed to wimn the series by 2-1. The match held in Seddon Park saw the skipper leaving the ground after injuring his left hamstring.

This was later confirmed by the ECB that he will be out of cricket for at least three months.

Ben Stokes is a great all-rounder and has brought many great victories to the English side.

Like the T20 final vs Pakistan or his 135 (not out) against Australia in Ashes 2019, these are considered as the best test innings of all time.

His absence from the team can weaken their side.

Very fortunately for them, his injury wouldn’t affect their test team’s performance for their next test match is scheduled against Zimbabwe in May.

And there are hopes that he will be fully recovered by then.

In a latest social media post, he has vowed to return to the test side stronger and that he will perform better in the next world test championship season.

However, His absence from the game will have him miss some important events like ICC Champions Trophy, SA20 and series against India.

In SA20, he was going to play for Mi Cape town but his injury has ruled him out of the tournament.

He was supposed to play with other english players like Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow and Zak Crawley.

With Ben stokes’ absence from the ODI team during Champions Trophy, Joe Root has been called in the ODI team as his replacement.

India vs England 5 T20 and 3 ODI series is also schedules to begin from 22nd Jan till 12 Feb.

We hope this series will prepare the english side to play the Champions Trophy without the skill and expertise of Ben Stokes.
