Akael Hussein from the West Indies has been crowned as the No.1 T20 bowler in the latest ICC ranking.
He is leading with 707 points and being followed by England’s Adil Rashid with 701 points, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga with 697 points , Australia’s Adam Zampa with 694 Point and Sri Lanka’s Mahesh Theekshana with 684 points.
He has taken nine wickets in the world cup T20. Though his team didn’t qualify for the final but he was the back bone of their bowling line-up.
The top baller also managed to hit a hat trick against Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL and was part of the winning side Mi Emirates in ILT20.
In addition to that, Pakistan’s star batsmen Baber Azam also claimed the top Spot in ODI Ranking .He has become the No.1 ODI batsmen yet again, dropping Shubman Gill to the 3rd spot for he hasn’t played ODI ever since.
Babar Azam played a decent innings in South Africa and Australia which brought him back to the first position.
Babar Azam has 795 points, he is followed by Rohit Sharma with 765 points, Shubman Gill with 763, Virat Kohli with 746 and Heinrich Klaasen with 743 points.
Babar Azam is technically a very sound batsmen in ODI, it would be nice to see him competing against world class bowling in the upcoming champion’s trophy. India also hasn’t been active in ODI’s let’s see how they’ll perform in the tournament and how the ranking will change after the tournament.
